Manufacturer On-Site Training

We provide on-site training for manufacturers and private fleets transporting their own products, materials, or equipment.

Instead of training with generic freight, we can work with the products and equipment your team actually handles.

Manufacturer training may include:

  • Cargo securement

  • Freight placement and weight distribution

  • Proper strapping techniques

  • Chains and binders

  • Blocking and bracing

  • Edge protection

  • Pre-trip inspections

  • Load preparation

  • Damage prevention

  • Cargo securement best practices

  • Development of consistent loading and securement procedures

Training can be provided for both drivers and shipping/receiving personnel to help improve the entire loading process before the vehicle leaves the facility.

Shipping & Receiving Training

Proper cargo securement begins before the driver leaves the yard.

Our shipping and receiving training focuses on helping warehouse and loading teams understand how freight placement can affect transportation safety.

Training may include:

  • Proper freight positioning

  • Weight distribution fundamentals

  • Preparing freight for securement

  • Blocking and bracing

  • Proper strap placement

  • Edge protection

  • Reducing cargo damage

  • Communication between shipping personnel and drivers

  • Creating consistent loading procedures

This training is especially valuable for manufacturers operating their own commercial vehicles or private fleets.

Gooseneck Connection & Disconnection Training

Drivers should be comfortable performing a complete connection and disconnection process before operating a gooseneck trailer.

Training can include:

  • Proper hitch alignment

  • Connecting the gooseneck

  • Safety chains

  • Breakaway cable placement

  • Electrical connections

  • Trailer jack operation

  • Visual connection inspection

  • Proper disconnection procedures

  • Pre-trip checks before departure

Training can be performed using your company’s truck and trailer whenever appropriate.
